Nearly 100 Bentley Village residents filled the Rainbow Room for a Continental Breakfast on April 19, 2016 held to introduce the new Bentley Village Foundation and discover how they could play the vital role of supporting the new foundation’s efforts to transform and enrich the lives of the young and the aging within the Bentley Village community and beyond.
Presentations focused primarily on Bentley Village “Wings”, a competitive scholarship program designed to deliver education opportunities to employees of Collier County and their families. A panel of speakers included representatives of the foundation, Bentley management, and the Community Foundation of Collier County, the foundation’s partner in the scholarship program.
Foundation Trustees and Committee members spoke about our history, our Scholarship Program and why it’s important for residents to support our mission. Guest speakers, from Vi at Bentley Village and The Community Foundation of Collier County – Eileen Connolly- Keesler, President/CEO and Sharon Bayata, Grants & Scholarships, explained the benefits of the partnership between the two foundations and shared their support and partnership with The Bentley Village Foundation. The speakers were enthusiastically received, and the Continental Breakfast was enjoyed by all!
